Great info from you once again! Any way to estimate number of drivers as well? In spite of Amazon’s fiction that they aren’t Amazon employees, they are an important part of the workforce.
Flex is a whole different story. Amazon claims that 2.9 million people have downloaded the app, but that doesn't give you a sense of how many people are actually doing that. I'm working now on trying to come up with a realistic estimate of the size of the Flex driver workforce. More soon.

Thanks! Amazon claimed 275k DSP drivers across 3k DSPs in 2022 (https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/transportation/how-amazons-dsp-program-has-created-26-billion-in-revenue-for-owners). More recently, they cited the creation of 390k DSP drivers and 4.4k DSPs since 2018; some have taken those to be current numbers, but I think that's all the drivers/DSPs since 2018, some of which aren't currently working for Amazon (https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/policy-news-views/amazon-dsp-program-update; https://capitaloneshopping.com/research/amazon-logistics-statistics/).
Average DSP size according to 2024 OSHA ITA data is 88. Multiply that by the 2909 DSPs listed here (https://warehouse.ninja/shop/product/comprehensive-list-of-amazon-delivery-service-partner-dsp-companies/), and that's 255,992 drivers, and in the range of the company's 2022 claim.
