OSHA publishes annual Injury Tracking Application (ITA) data that includes a column on the number of employees at a facility about which they receive a report. I picked out the Amazon cases and then matched employment numbers to facilities based upon address information.
After organizing the data by facility type, I then nixed any co-located facilities from my count, not knowing if the OSHA data pertained to one facility or building in a particular complex or the whole shebang. The only exception to this rule was the Bulky Fulfillment Centers, most of which are co-located with Bulky Sortation Centers and/or Bulky Delivery Stations. They’re basically their own system within Amazon’s distribution network, for understandable reasons.
